Iago's Motivation
Number of words: 1248 - Number of pages: 5.... of anguish possible. Iago controls the play, he brilliantly
determines how each character shall act and react. He is a pressing advocate of
evil, a pernicious escort, steering good people toward their own vulgar
destruction.
Iago must first make careful preparations in order to make certain his fire
of human destruction will burn with fury and rage. He douses his victims with a
false sense of honesty and goodness. And, as do most skillful pyromaniacs, Iago
first prepares his most important target, Othello:
Though in the trade of war I have slain men, Yet do I hol .....

The Night: Living By Conformity
Number of words: 920 - Number of pages: 4.... make time to praise God and secure his family, as for America's society today; it seems that he cannot make time. All we think about now is when our needs will be served and when we will receive them, in other words, impatience! We must learn to accept the values of waiting and see all optimistic outlooks of the world. As humans, we are given freedom, so we should use the free will given to accept all values that should be appreciated on this earth, instead of laying everything off. The longer we influence ourselves that earth will take care of us, and lose patience while doing so, w .....

The Truth Of Suffering In King Lear
Number of words: 1240 - Number of pages: 5.... Cordelia: Good my lord,
You have begot me, bred me, loved me.
I return those duties back as are right fit:
Obey you, love you, and most honor you........
That lord whose hand must take my plight shall carry
Half my love with him, half my care and duty.
Sure I shall never marry like my sisters,
To love my father all. (1.1.105-15)
Cordelia's plight is only one of the many truths Lear is unable to see.
Since he is king, he is told only what he wants to hear, not necessarily
the truth. Slowly, as his other two daughters shun him, he suffers through
the storm, and is able to .....

MacBeth: Everyone Has At Least One Flaw
Number of words: 815 - Number of pages: 3.... of greed, and deserved to die because of his flaw.
Duncan was the King of England, and was murdered by MacBeth. He
was murdered, because in order for MacBeth to fulfill his plan and become
king, Duncan would have to die. Duncan's fatal flaw was that he was too
trusting. For example, he thought that none of his friends could really be
enemies. If Duncan was more careful about his safety at MacBeth's castle,
he may have had a chance to survive. But Duncan's flaw, wasn't something
so horrible that he should die. Most people need to trust each other more,
and just because one person di .....

"King Lear" And Parallel Plot - Crucial For The Play?
Number of words: 786 - Number of pages: 3.... by his foolish
desire for flattery. He divides his kingdom between two of his daughters
and the never ending crave for power and wealth begins. As we can assume
from the play's title, Lear and his daughters are part of the main plot.
The plot of Gloucester and his sons, is considered parallel.
Gloucester is portrayed also with family problems. He experiences
trouble with his two sons, Edgar and Edmund. This parallel plot that ties
in with the main one sometimes actually comes into unison and characters
interact with each other.
The parallel plot can be taken into account as a "back-up" .....

To Kill A Mockingbird: A Movie Review
Number of words: 498 - Number of pages: 2.... the lines in the movie are mostly believable, for the most part.
It is obvious that some of the phrases that were used by the children are
slightly forced, and unnatural. The language and vocabulary that were
utilized throughout the film I found to be fitting the characters. With
the acting, I was not impressed, however. It seemed to me that the acting
was very novice and awkward. Gregory Peck was the only actor that I felt
had much offerable talent in performing. I was disappointed by this aspect
to the movie. I did feel that the characters were believable, though. It
was obvious tha .....

Hamlet: Emotional States
Number of words: 3309 - Number of pages: 13.... of
all the evil about him (Lidz, 73).
We clearly see that Hamlet is quite upset by his mother's quite hasty
marriage to is uncle, and this causes some deep seeded emotional problems for
Hamlet. I can not talk about Hamlet's emotional state without also going into
the fact that Hamlet already suspects the King of killing his father, before the
ghost tells him so (Leavenwoth, 34). First I will go elaborate on how Hamlet,
at certain times, was clearly not feigning insanity, but that insanity only
lasted for brief periods of time because of the emotional blows that Hamlet
undergoes.
I and many .....
