When many people think of an idea of love that is perfect, many would say that women of purity and beauty would be the perfect woman. Daniel states this thought when he says "Chastity and Beauty, which were deadly foes." Here Daniel says that his mistress is pure, innocent, and beautiful. He is asking the reader to find a woman that perfect. There also seems to be reference to the divine in this line. Daniel is possibly comparing his mistress to the Virgin Mary. .... forced June to take piano lessons, because she wanted June to be prodigy. June did take the lessons , unfortunately she had no other choice. Once they had a show where she was supposed to play or “show off” as June called it. Her Mom invited all her friends because she wanted to raise her reputation and show how talented daughter was. June messed up on the song that she was supposed to play. She never forgot or forgave that moment. Her Mom looked so low in the eyes of the other Mothers like poor in the eyes of rich. She never had enough patience with June which is critical for pa .....

.... she does not always think until it is too late. She always gets herself into trouble by not thinking before acting. Like in the near beginning of the novel when she was attacked by a group of men, instead of using her cunning, she ran. She was almost raped and beaten because of her quick reaction to a situation that might have been avoided. Gaultry is really an everyday hero, she is not stronger, smarter, or braver than any other character in the novel. I think I would like to live in the time and setting of this novel. .... Mr. Cunningham appears with a group of men one night at the jail cell of Tom Robinson, a Negro, with malignant intentions. When Atticus places himself between the men and Tom, Mr. Cunningham still stands against him, even though Atticus had served help to him in an emergency and was proved to be a very honorable man. This is similar to cases of everyone else in Maycomb. Other citizens saw Atticus as a man of virtue and respect, yet became overcome by their own prejudices and racist sentiments. Even a man that owed much to Atticus would stand against him for the sake of his personality .....

In the puritan culture, adultery is a grievous sin, one punishable by death. She has to live through each day knowing that John was unfaithful, and that he did not fulfill the commitment of marriage. Further in the book Collier describes the pecking orde3r, which is the birth order of siblings, in which the oldest usually commands or dicates the activities of younger siblings. Once again Collier gives examples as; that white people felt they were supreme over black people. in another chapter Collier speaks of war between parents and children. The book explains why children think and say that they feel their parents are ignorant of their feelings for who they are, or that teenagers know what they want .....

.... that Gorman is being very sarcastic and bitter towards physicians who mare share this view. In paragraph three, Gorman attempts to make an analogy between other professions and related obligations. In essence, the analogy equates the amount of money and personal taste one may have, with the level of care and/or attention one deserves. The analogy appears to be very inappropriate at first, however, this may be exactly what Gorman is trying to point out, making the reader more sympathetic to the thesis. Shakespeare offers clear evidence pointing to Hamlet’s sanity beginning with the first scene of the play. Hamlet begins with guards whose main importance in the play is to give credibility to the ghost. If Hamlet were to see his father’s ghost in private, the argument for his madness would greatly improve. Yet, not one, but three men together witness the ghost before even thinking .....
