Number of words: 960 - Number of pages: 4.... groups. At the time you see
them in the movie they seem to be using a tribal form of government where the
elders make up the governing body, but let every one else take part in the
policy making process. Besides using a tribal form of government they also
believe in divine right, or a god given someone the right to rule them as
demonstrated by the Ewoks immediate worship of C3-P0 upon sight. This can be
compared to any modern family a moving into an apartment along with many other
families where there is a manager, but the every one living in the building can

Having A Gun
Number of words: 532 - Number of pages: 2.... entertain the notion that the enactment
of this law would come to protect the right of those who violate the rights of
others. It has never occurred to authorities that vicious criminals, in spite of
this legislation, will still manage somehow to get the firearms.
Innocent people, however, will suffer, because they will be less likely

they would take wh .....

They were kept at home where they were taught the proper manners and duties of a desirable wife. “Marriage was the inevitable goal to which her whole life tended. To remain a spinster was the worst disgrace which could befall a woman” (Everyday Life in Ancient Greece, pg. 82). However, it was seen as more of a disgrace on her father who ‘owned’ her until she was married. Although Athenian women were completely in charge of their household and slaves, they didn’t have much freedom. They rarely left the house, unless they were pa .....

The Effectiveness Of Local Crime Prevention Funding
Number of words: 636 - Number of pages: 3.... . But as the preceding Chapters show, the Congress has never provided the tools needed to get the job done. Those tools include adequate funding for program evaluation, and a structure of federal program funding that permits controlled testing of crime prevention effectiveness.
In order for Congress to learn whether DOJ programs are effective, it must provide a more balanced approach to program funding and evaluation. The latter cannot be accomplished without some small compromise in the principle of State and local control over how most of the federal funding is spent. While this principle .....

Number of words: 983 - Number of pages: 4.... of the same sex.” Men and women are obviously biologically different. “People of the same sex having intercourse goes against what is biologically natural” (Baird 114). Part of the homosexual agenda is to make people believe that homosexuals are the same as heterosexuals when it comes to engaging in sexual behavior. This is absolutely not true. In Michelangelo Signorile’s book Cassel’s Rawlings 2 Queer Companion, a dictionary of lesbian and gay life and culture, he describes some of the sexual activities that homosexuals practice. These includes “fisting, when one partner shove .....

Many believe that legalizing drugs would lessen crime. They point out
that the legalization of drugs would deter future criminal acts. They also
emphasize and contrast Prohibition. When the public realized that
Prohibition could not be enforced the law was repealed. From this, one
may infer the same of legalizing drugs. Legalizing alcohol didn't increase
alcoholism, so why would drugs increase drug abuse?
However, drugs .....

Senseless Lawsuits
Number of words: 546 - Number of pages: 2.... deaths. What was amazing about the case is the amount of money that was awarded to the families when they stated it wasn’t about the money. To me it seems that it was about the money and not who killed their children, if that was the case they would work with OJ to find out who the real killers are.
Recently a lawsuit was filed against a college for a computer course that was too hard. Twelve students failed the course and decided to sue the college bec .....
