Is The Mainstream Videogames Media Biased?
Number of words: 3210 - Number of pages: 12.... and often concentrates more heavily on the faults rather the strengths of the game. To further illustrate the point of this editorial, I will take into account some recent events and how they were reported.
My favorite one is the premiere issue of "Incite" magazine. This publication should cover all systems except that the premiere issue had barely any coverage on Dreamcast games. Instant classics like "Soul Calibur", "Sonic Adventure", and "NFL 2K" of course were never reviewed. The game that was rated was Virtua Fighter 3. The only Dreamcast preview was a small section on Slave Zero. Ho .....

Shiga Naoya - At Kinosaki
Number of words: 2281 - Number of pages: 9.... methods of observation and turn it into literature. Shiga Naoya is reported to have said that he never attempted to draw a line between story novels and non-fiction essays. He described his main function as a writer was to select, set and arrange materials into a story. If we look at the first sentence of the novel "I had been hit by a train on the Tokyo loop line and I went alone to Kinosaki hot spring to convalesce" we can immediately recognize his 'matter of fact' style of writing. He so efficiently sets up a story's entire background in one sentence with nothing but simple fact. T .....

Respect
Number of words: 706 - Number of pages: 3.... One example of this is my 5th grade teacher, Ms. Cindy Lee. By allowing us to call her by her first name, Cindy, she made the learning environment a lot more approachable. Another example is certain NYPD officers, who have breaking the “blue wall of silence”, revealing illegal events and behaviors that have taken place. By giving up and telling these secrets they have left a clean slate, showing them to be more honest, thus allowing them to form a better relationship with the people of the city. This point clearly shows that earned forms a better relationship then demand .....

Ultimately Disgusting
Number of words: 847 - Number of pages: 4.... arms, damaged their spinal cord, and been knocked out on several occasions. In a recent event in the Ukraine, a competitor died after he was beated badly. After the fight he collapsed, was taken to a hospital, and later died (Kodi).
Cockfighting is banned in almost all states in this country, however in most states ultimate fighting still goes unregulated. Why are we allowing humans to compete in events that we have decided is too dangerous for animals (Sokolove 1)? Isn’t allowing this type of event to go on telling our children that it is ok to fight? This type of event serve .....

Can Knowledge In Itself Be Goo
Number of words: 1256 - Number of pages: 5.... that has created a dilemma for human beings for countless centuries. We are often too quick to put the blame on knowledge, yet knowledge without interpretation is ineffectual, only in the mind of a human being can it grow to be a menace or a savior.
For one to understand the true nature of knowledge, both the objective and subjective aspects of knowledge must be considered. Knowledge in its purest form, that is before it has been analyzed or thought about by anyone, is objective in nature. For example, at the exact instant a baby is born the parents and a few doctors that were present in .....

The Cherokee Indians
Number of words: 971 - Number of pages: 4.... "real people."
Villages were placed along rivers and streams so they could take
advantage of the rich black soil for farming. Corn was their main source of
food, along with wild plants and roots that were common to their homeland.
They used spears, traps, and fishing lines with hooks to catch many
different kinds of fish. They also used an interesting method of poisoning
an area of water to kill the fish and gather them up as they floated to the
surface.
The Cherokees were also skilled hunters. They hunted large animals,
such as deer and bear, with bows and arrows. They covered themse .....

Outside
Number of words: 604 - Number of pages: 3.... in the year 2004. After two months the ship was now approaching the end of the Solar system. So far there had been no signs of any other ships using the cruse drive.
There was one more planet to cross before they would leave the Solar system. They took notice of the planet. It was a beautiful huge planet with lots of colours. It would take them another two days to cross over it.
Two days Later…
The crew was getting nervous as they approached the end of the Solar system. When they reached the very edge, Commander Angelo called the crew together and told them the real mission. They were .....

What Is Knowledge Management
Number of words: 1476 - Number of pages: 6.... with respect to this tool.
?*
There are prevalent definitions of knowledge management needing to be highlighted. First, that knowledge management (KM) is the discipline that enables productive generation, retention, sharing and maintenance of knowledge to improve the decision-making process and resulting actions. Alternatively, one can state that knowledge management is the process by which individual learning and experience can be accessed, reflected upon, shared, and utilized in order to foster enhanced individual knowledge and, thus, organizational value. It is an approach to managing .....

Oil Never Sleeps
Number of words: 504 - Number of pages: 2.... a car. Now after reading about "petroleum surfboards", I
realize that bicycles have a lot more oil in them than you might think. All
of the safety gear is oil, the helmet, pads, shoes, lycra shorts, bottles,
even the wristwatch. The same applies to skateboarding.
At this point I look up and see thousands of gallons of oil in my
house. I'm surrounded by it. My sofas, phones, t.v., vcrs, planters,
catbox, computer system, picture frames, all of my product containers,
security system, bags, tapes, cameras, even the pen I'm using. I wear it,
put it in my mouth twice a day to clean my t .....

Building A Passive Wine Cellar
Number of words: 1800 - Number of pages: 7.... of wine between the cork and the surface of the wine. In old wines it is fairly reliable indication of likely quality: the greater the ullage the more suspect the wine. Excessive ullage indicates a loose cork, widely or frequently fluctuating storage temperatures, or low humidity (Gold 31). Some ullage with age is inevitable, but anything more that 12 mm (1/2 inch) per decade is avoidable.
Excessively high relative humidity inevitably leads to mold. The carbohydrates in your wine cellar: cork stoppers, paper labels, paper surface of the drywall, and wooden shelves can all become mo .....
