Old Testament Vs. Hellenic Divine Intervention
Number of words: 876 - Number of pages: 4.... that wipes
out the earth. His destiny was to build the ark and take a pair of every living
creature to help repopulate the earth after everything is wiped out. This is
similar to Oedipus at Colonus, in the Hellenic texts, because the gods choose
Oedipus to save the city of Colonus from his own sons. They differ because God,
in the Old Testament, chooses rather blindly. He does not choose people for any
reason except that is who He wanted. If He does choose, it is based on goodness
or loyalty to Him. The gods of Hellenic texts, like in Oedipus at Colonus, the

Number of words: 859 - Number of pages: 4.... of the catacombs.
In the first half of the second century, as a result of donations, the

catacombs were founded. Many of them began and developed around family
tombs whose owners, newly converted Christians, did not reserve them to the
members of the family, but opened them to their fellow people, showing the
faith.
As time went on and room started to run out in the catacombs, these areas
grew larger by gifts or by the purchase of new properties, sometimes by the
Church itself. Saint Callixtus was a very typical case .....

Prayer In Schools: To Pray, Or Not To Pray?
Number of words: 443 - Number of pages: 2.... at other times, but I strongly feel that people with
other beliefs should not be subjected to my, or even the majority of the
class's beliefs. In America, it is a right of the people to choose their
belief, or lack there of, and we should learn to respect and honor that.
I personally agree with the first two statements. The picture of
Jesus should not be aloud because Jesus Christ is mainly a Christian icon.
I also believe that a moment of silent meditation is much more appropriate
than a prayer, Therefore I think the people fighting against it are in the

Everyone in America, or in .....
