"The Big, The Good, The Ugly"
There are many parallels in the movie "Roxanne" and the book Cyrano de Bergerac. Most of the distinguishing estrums in both titles are his physical attributes, characteristics, and similar living conditions. There are a few though that could be brought out from just the obvious similarities. The scene in which C.D. helps Roxanne get back into her house could be paralleled with the scene in which Cyrano helped the drunken poet fight off the twelve men. Both of the men did not really know or have a good relation with the people they were helping. C.D. went out and help ....
