Pride and Prejudice opens in the home of an English family, the Bennets, in the eighteenth century. As the story unfolds we find out that Charles Bingley, a rich, young, single gentleman is moving into Netherfield, near the Bennets. Mrs. Bennet decides that he will marry one of her five daughters.
