When man first came about, the people were in Asia. They wanted to discover new land, but they weren’t really smart then because they hadn’t been around other humans to learn things.
The people were smart enough to know how often happened, so they found out that during everything would freeze. For example: the plants would die, the oceans would freeze over, etc... They thought that if the oceans froze over, they could go explore and find new land.
They had to go on foot because they hadn’t discovered horses yet. They hadn’t thought about any other kind of ....
