Odysseus? A Hero?
Different people have different perceptions and ideas of what a true hero is. Many people would agree with me when I say that Odysseus was not a hero. His actions and characteristics show that he was far from being a hero. A hero is someone who is loyal and cares about protecting and leading others by making wise decisions. Odysseus was not a hero because made bad decisions, he endangered his men, and he cared too much about killing.
The bad decisions that Odysseus made led him to trouble, and while not getting him anywhere, proved that he was not a hero. Odysseus’ men ....
