My mom says she remembers the card catolog as the only way to find a book,
and to do research at the library. She says she also remembers having to
study and learn the Dewey Decimal System. Just six years ago, my mom also
helped run the library at my old school “Assumption in Morristown”. They
were not computerized then, I remember her handing out bookmarks with the
Dewey Decimal System. Things have certainly changed since then.
I feel very lucky to grow up in a time where computer technology is
