The story flowed from beginning to end, characterizing the changes in Jimmy Cross as he dealt with his emotions as well as the responsibility to the men in his platoon. In the beginning of the story he was depicted as a boyish leader with dreams of Martha being his escape from the senseless reality of the war. When one of his men was killed he accepted the responsibility and guilt, which changed him into .....

Lenin became the leader and teacher of the working class in Russia, and their determination to struggle against capitalism. Like Old Major, Lenin and Marx wrote essays and gave speeches to the working class poor. The working class in Russia, as compared with the barnyard animals in , were .....

.... less shy in the newer version. This makes their love seem much more lustful, rather than meaningful. Another actor that seemes to change drastically is Tybalt. In the original version, he seems to be much more in control. Tybalt in the newer version is extremely bitter and much more controlled by his uncle. There are other subtle differences between the two movies, including the scenes. The original movie is set in a very traditional setting. The party takes place in a castle and everything is very fitting for the time frame. Not very original, but still effective. The new versio .....

Swift sees how the poor are treated by the affluent who may think that the impoverished are the reason for Ireland’s food problems. In fact, the entire essay is nothing more than sarcastic piece that deeply imbeds the blame upon the rich who he feels might have just as much or even more blame on Ireland’s food problems than the poor ever have. .... else tragedy has laws. One of the laws is Hubris. A Rose for Emily, by William Faulkner, can easily be classified as a tragedy. It is a repulsive story about a woman, who died just as she lived: lonely. Emily Grierson was a peculiar woman, who owned a large house, which was a mystery to many people. She never had any real friends and she never had a spouse. And when she started seeing a man, Homer Barron, everybody was assured that she would marry him. I thought that the grandmother influenced the characters in a positive way, because she made the people she influenced always want to do the best in life, as the people seemed to really care about and want her approval. The second chosen story, God is Not a Fish Inspector by W.D. Valgardson was my personal favorite, the main character was Fusi, a man who himself knew he was getting old, but that didn't mean he had to accept it, as Fusi was a n old man with attitude, an attitude de .....
