Rudman then throws in some quicker wording to describe the landscape, which is broken up into short, incomplete ideas with commas. He introduces a multitude of ideas when he describes, "Hills leeched of color,// the desert a kind of form,// with rimrock and succulents and gulches// providing borders- boundaries.// Dust and Desire" (651).
