Much later, Frankie and her father move in to a house with her aunt, and uncle, because of her cousin’s death; and her cook quits. Frankie finds a sophisticated friend, in which she can relate to. The relevance of this theme is that change is a necessary part of life, and can’t be stopped from happening. On the train he is aware of the respect that other blacks hold for him, because he is a man of God, though, in the city, his social standing demonstrates little significance. This may be taken as a sign that the idea of a God may be questioned or less acceptable to the people, when they have positions in a society that are cruel and not beneficial. In every room of almost every building there is a Telescreen which allows Part members to see and hear anything that goes on in the area of the telescreen. Knowing that anything they say, think or do is being seen by the "Big Brother" people will began to believe and think what they are told is the truth, if they do not, they are tortured until they do. Big Brother is used, in my opinion, to scare the people of Oceania. He is seen as a very powerful person (even if he isn't real) .....

Also, at the end of the play Parris and Danforth want to post his confession of being in league with the devil on the Church door because “It is a weighty name”(141). Edgar represents beauty with his "blue eyes and even forehead", while Heathcliff is the ugliness as "the little black haired thing". Edgar and Heathcliff both show love for Catherine but for different reasons. Heathcliff loves Catherine because she is "wild and a free spirit" and wants to be with her forever, yet Edgar loves Catherine because she is his wife and he wants to protect her from the evil Heathcliff. Heathcliff who is as "rough as a saw-edge and hard as whinestone .....

Once the girls talk to each other, they become more and more frightened of being accused as witches, so Abigail starts accusing others of practicing witchcraft. The other girls all join in so that the blame will not be placed on them. In The Crucible, Abigail starts the accusations by saying, "I go back to Jesus; I kiss his hand. I saw Sarah Good with the Devil! I saw Goody Osburn with the Devil! I saw Bridget Bishop with the Devil!" Another girl, B .....

As the weather begins to warm up (several months after leaving port), Ahab is finally seen on deck. The strangest thing about Ahab is his leg. Instead of flesh and bone, he has a white ivory peg leg. As the weeks wear on, Ahab starts to become friendlier. One day, he calls the crew before him. He tells them that the sole mission of the Pequod is to kill Moby Dick.
