"Ginger ale into a glass of ice? That's quite easy." laughed Hans.
"Yes, but not when YOU are in a locked room, the ice and glass in a
safe, and me with the Ginger Ale outside!" exclaimed Miguel.
"That is quite extraordinary, if you could do it. But what would I
get if you didn't do it?" asked Hans.
"Head seat of all violinists, plus 100,000 dollars, in CASH." said
Miguel.

After that the worn out bus load was escorted to a room with other

special squad. I was assigned to division six. When I arrived at my

Creative Writing: The Nightmare
Number of words: 1074 - Number of pages: 4.... We
told them to have a nice time and they both grabbed their coats and left.
Julie started crying just as they closed the door. We gave her a bottle
and put her down to watch some TV. Then the phone rang and Susan and I looked
at each other, seeing who was going to answer it.
I answered the phone but no one was there. I said hello again, but
still no answer. All I could hear was someone breathing heavily. It was loud,
gasping, and very frightening. I said hello again and heard a faint, masculine
voice. As I began to tremble, the voice whispered, "I'm coming."
All of a sudden the lig .....

The Man In The Park
Number of words: 791 - Number of pages: 3.... like an old friend that he couldn’t say goodbye to.
On this particular day the sun was shining down, warming the earth and lake, so many children played on the wooden swing set. From where I stood on the path, I could hear their cheerful shouts, but could not see them. What I could see was the old man’s face. He had strong features: a broad nose, deep-set eyes, and pronounced cheekbones. They had all sunken into a deep sea of wrinkles over the years. You could tell that he had once been a handsome young man. He was of an average height, but appeared taller as he sat with a ramr .....

Personal Writing: On My Time
Number of words: 1406 - Number of pages: 6.... prick I am, and drew the first card. Unfortunately I drew
the second band on stage out of nine. The best position to be in is about
fourth or fifth band because that is when the crowd starts getting into the
music. Pissed off I haphazardly wandered back to my group to inform them
of my greatest mistake.
We loaded the equipment into the worlds slowest elevator, and
stumbled our way to the backstage lounge. After I had read graffiti
covered walls until my heart was content I noticed much writing by some of
my favorite groups like Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Mansion, Korn, and The
Dead .....

What Family Is To Me
Number of words: 441 - Number of pages: 2.... of the
family. The two ideas go hand in hand. My parents respected me enough to
tell me that I was adopted, instead of lying to me and having me find out
later in life that I wasn't their biological son. This respect that my
parents gave me, in turn gave me their trust. And I gave them the respect
and trust that was given to me.
Without sacrifice, a family cannot be. The sacrifices that family
members make for each other show the willingness to be an unselfish part of
a family. Sacrifices also display the love, respect and trust in a family.
I know that even though some of the tim .....

Number of words: 1473 - Number of pages: 6.... in his life, they had always
maintained themselves as an unwavering constant. But most importantly, they
were carried out slowly, and in the current times of speed and fast results,
it was very reassuring to be able to take time to go through the routines
which had been a part of Bradley's life for at least fifteen years, now.
Bradley savoured his drink, choosing to drink it very slowly, as if in
an attempt to slow down time. Bradley tried again to put words to the page,
typing away furiously (certainly the ability to type over ninety words per
minute helps when you have to writ .....

Personal Writing: Fickle Fisherman
Number of words: 541 - Number of pages: 2.... it he started talking and telling me how to catch a REAL fish not the
guppy in my bucket. As he talked and talked the fish got closer and closer and
he netted it up and took a look. The fish was about half the size of mine but
it was a carp not a catfish. I gave a little laugh and continued and he tried
to explain...."well you see boy, a carp is a hell of alot harder to hook than a
catfish. Carp don't just eat everything they see, they're very selective. So if
I were you I wouldn't laugh to hard just yet". I wasn't to sure if the
information was legit but i really doubted it so I just .....

drop away and coast to the hip. He glides past it, and I start to notice
the entire view before me as he blends into a larger picture.
I see grey. Every shade of grey, in all its variety blends and
curves from the lightest near whites, to a deepness rivaling black. The
darkness overhead drones with the sound of a thousand automobile tires
humming on the top of the bridge. Though designed for another purpose, it
serves well as protection from the rain and weather. The sun and light, as
well as the wind, come from .....
