.... Although I wanted to see how many books I could read that were on the summer reading list but would not have to go to the library to get a hold of. My mother is a big book reader so I checked her collection and I found one. "The Terminal Man" By: Michael Crichton. To my surprise I actually enjoyed reading this book. I don't like reading that much, I rather watch a movie. This book however was different. It was really suspenseful and hard to put down. I know my story sounds really convincing but I will prove to you any way that I read this book by giving you a quick summary of the novel. .....

I hear many sounds; the ribbit of a dirty-green plump frog hidden amongst the underbrush, chirps of birds high in the sky, and the soft wind as it rustles leaves on the trees. The most amazing scene I have witnessed many times along this pond is the ducks. Every few days, I see a family of ducks traveling across the green grass. The smallest duck, no more than 4 inches tall, would march proudly near the end of the pack. I see sparse, thin clumps of down over his otherwise bare self as he .....

.... but he was on the wrong road and his teachers had no idea. If only one teacher had taken the initiative to try to help my uncle with his interest in pharmaceuticals, maybe he could have used his knowledge in a positive way. Teachers are supposed to be role models and people that teenagers can talk to, whether they are having trouble at home, need someone who may understand them better, or for actual help in the class. I know that I want to be a part of the education system and I want to work with teenagers, whether it be as a high school teacher or possibly as a high school counsel .....
